Prada Linea Rossa Sunglasses
Less High Fashion, more High Speed, The Prada Linea Rossa sunglasses collection takes all the best elements of the classic Prada aesthetic and gives them an added shot of adrenaline. The result is a collection of frames that are bold, intense, and effortlessly cool.
Whilst they may look catwalk ready, Prada Linea Rossa sunglasses are performance eyewear first and foremost. The idea for the collection began with Patrizio Bertelli: husband of Miuccia Prada and manager of the Prada business. In 2000, Bertelli decided to pursue this passion for boat racing by sponsoring the Luna Rossa, one of the boats that sailed in the prestigious America’s Cup that year.
Prada Sport
In 2011, Bertelli oversaw the launch of Prada Sport, a new collection of accessories and eyewear that would combine Prada’s respected High-Fashion aesthetics with classic sports frame styles and materials, in doing so setting the standard in men’s sport and leisure eyewear. Sporting the iconic red line that was also visible on the Luna Rossa sailing ship, the Prada Sport collection was recently renamed to Prada Linea Rossa (Prada Red Line), a name that better captures the dynamism and spirit of this collection.
Top models include the rimless single lens PS 010S model with on-trend gradient lenses. The stems feature rubber coating, available in either classic black or a statement bright yellow. The stainless steel base gives 
these frames peerless strength and durability, whilst the rubber coating provides comfort to the wearer. The PS 50QS model is also a popular choice. The rectangle frames are a safer bet than the bolder single lens models, but the intense red coloring marks these out as a pair of frames with serious attitude.
Last but not least, the PS 52QS single lens model offers the quintessential rally-driver look. With light red rims and gradient lenses, this model is a bold fashion statement that nonetheless allows for flawless function and performance.
