Summer Movies 2016
Summer is here! And for those of you who do not have the luxury of going off to some tropical resort or a beautiful beach, a trip to your local movie theatre might just be the next best thing, as an abundance of blockbusters will hit the big screen this season!

War Dogs
A hilarious comedy based on a true story about two naïve twenty-something best friends who get involved in an arms deal with the US Government worth over $300million. Starring Jonah Hill and Miles Teller and directed by ‘The Hangover’ director Todd Phillips, this movie is expected to be jam-packed with comedy gold. Jonah will be wearing a pair of Gucci 1018’s in the movie, an essential for every man’s wardrobe as they give a vibe of class and have a very smart yet casual look which would look great paired up with a dress shirt or a suit. Ghostbusters
30 years since the original Ghostbusters movies, the third has finally come. With the trailer already showing glimpses of hilarity, as well as starring a cast that all have deep roots in comedy, this movie looks to be as funny as the Ghostbusters movies of the past. One thing we are particularly looking forward to is seeing the eyewear on display. Melissa McCarthy’s character will be wearing Wayfarer glasses with black frames and yellow temples, giving her a very academic yet laid-back look, while Chris Hemsworth’s character will be wearing the stylish Hugo Boss 0728’s, giving him a smart and hip look. Ghostbusters is out July 15!
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping
Made by and starring the guys from the group The Lonely Island, Popstar is an entertaining comedy that satirizes the extravagant lifestyles of modern music stars. The movie follows the life of fictional popstar Conner4Real, who is played by Andy Samberg. Although the film is an attempt to mock the rich and famous, it does make their lifestyles look extremely desirable, and this is extremely evident in the numerous amount of designer shades Samberg wears throughout the movie, including rectangular brown sunnies, wearing pink aviators and black wayfarers.
Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising
The sequel to the hugely successful Neighbors (2014), the comedic genius of the duo of Seth Rogen and Zac Efron returns to the big screen. This time, rather than being archenemies, the two form an unlikely allegiance to fight against a common enemy. The movie’s key difference from the first is that it includes the key theme of growing up and maturing, which is something I’m sure all of us have thought about. Rogen, notoriously known for being a carefree bespectacled stoner, dons a pair of Ray-Ban RX5228 in this movie, giving him a ‘cool dad’ kind of look, showing that he is a more responsible yet relaxed person.
